Both academic and professional work of Professor Rivero Silva is developed in the field of international trade law, including the trade of those tangible and intangible assets that may be subject to international restrictions. Furthermore, during his stay as Advisor at the Permanent Mission of Spain to the United Nations, he was working on possible ways to improve international trade law, particularly in connection with the treasures and valuables of the Spanish galleons sunk in international waters and Spanish cultural heritage lost during our civil war.
Contribution
His interest in participating in this project is focused on the transfer of knowledge, merely as an example, the development of educational materials and academic dissemination of the project, the possible implementation with respect to the Spanish laws/public order and in general, comments to the same that may be required by UNIDROIT from professionals in the private sector and Spanish law.
